Great product. Need new jug

Originally branded as 'SoupMaster SM-3'. Great produt. Now I'm looking for a new jug as the original one has worn bearing. Jug from Soup Maker Pro is the same. Please help.

Don't risk it. Poor quality.

I loved this product so much I loved making soup with it was so easy. But, I had to get two replacements because the first one burnt-out and the second one started leaking. My friend also had one that didn't work and she returned it. I just got one given to me and it leaks! So frustrating that the quality is poor

It Sucks...!!!

Bought first Soup Mate Pro from TV Shop but within 10 days the Jug ended up with a crack down it and Yes the bottom burnt even though I put Water first before other items. Rang TV Shop who said it must be my fault by pushing Jug down too hard that it cracked. I couldn't buy just a replacement Jug. So bought a 2nd, full price, Soup Mate Pro. First time use and bottom burns again and can't get it off so its always there. After a few months though not using all the time which shouldn't matter though use the steamer function moreso, the blade is stuck solid. I oiled and twisted it til it moved freely inside the Jug. I use it, wash it then next time I want to make something, Blade has ziezed again. So I think well I'll just steam some veges. Ha that failed. The jug when washing it, I found a piece of black plastic and some hard small fibre block also. My Soup Mate Pro won't start at all anymore. And since I Still can't just buy the Jug as the motor is fine, they can shove it where the sun don't shine. I am extremely disappointed.

Simply the best

This is the best appliance I have in the kitchen ...I make 10 batches at a time ..this produces 30 containers holding 600ml. Serves two . It is about 4 years old now and the cutter bearing is noisy ..but has made a lot of soup as we have it every night . The secret is ...put about 200ml water in first then the vegetables won't stick to bottom and burn ..cut the likes of carrots up small and don't pack in or overload above the 1. 700 L mark. Rinse out after use then wash inside with soapy water and clean stainless inside base with section of soapy Jex pad. if you run too many batches it overheats at times ...allow to cool ..reboot ...great machine. Twenty minutes for fresh soup or do a large batch and freeze 600ml containers.

Initially was perfect but....

Initially was perfect, first issue i took it back to the Good Guys and they replaced it. The issue as burning bottom. anyway forward a few months, it had other issues, like the lid wouldn't lock in, the magnet that goes inside the lid kept falling inside the soup. Very sad, because when it worked it was wonderful! :/

Soup mate was great but now it's burns on bottom and soup smells burn when I make soup I have made pumpkin soup chicken soup leek and potato soup smooth soup also and chunky soup it was great 12 months and then it start to all go burning the bottom

I love this product!

This is so easy to use, dummy proof really!!!! Just chuck in your ingredients and away you go.

Brought this from one of those Tv shops about 3 years ago and have never had a problem. Our household goes through soup phases so sometimes its used frequently and others its stored away.

Haven't had any problems and would recommend this.

I love this machine

I bought this 18 months ago . It's easy to use and soup delicious . Yes it can be hard to clean but only one thing to clean. Found putting the chunky incredients in and onions,garlic etc on top lessens the clean up . Delicious soup using whatever is in the fridge and no preservatives . Sorry others haven't found this as useful. It's the most useful gadget in my kitchen.

Wish it was good.

We bought this Soup Maker from Kogan and have since sold it on a garage sale. It burnt the bottom of the product each time we used it. It was a nightmare to clean. We have had a bad run of products and will not buy on line anymore. Shop in safety in a retail store.

Brilliant... When It Worked

I bought Soup Mate Pro just over 12 months ago & it made brilliant soup, etc. for about 6 months, then it just stopped heating the ingredients. All other functions worked but no heat. I returned the unit to Big W who replaced the item with a brand new one. So, off I went, again, merrily making brilliant soup for about another 6 months and then it happened again. No heating. Exactly the same problem. I returned the replacement item to Big W again who graciously gave me a full refund of my original purchase price (even though the original warranty had expired by this time). My conclusion... Soup Mate Pro sucks but Big W gets a big thumbs up. Bought a programmable pressure cooker with my refund. Makes better soup and does much more bedsides. Thanks Big W.

I am on my 4th machine & now this one blows the circuit breaker when you turn it on, this is getting ridiculous, is there any warranty.? I’ve had it about 18 months but as it’s only a winter use machine I expect more life out of it

I loved to use the soup mate machine when I was in Australia, I have been seeking a similar product that can operate in Taiwan voltage, does anyone know where I can get one?

Hello Lavender C...Unfortunately I have not seen any advertised recently. There are a few on Gumtree ..worth a look I got one recently at a very good price ..never been used. ..good luck...John The ones available here are 240v...800/900watt don't know about Taiwan. you may be able to use an adaptor.

Hello Thelma ...sorry can't help you with that. what can happen eventually(after many years of use ) is the bearing with the cutting blade in the base of the jug wears out and freezes...then when you start up next time it can jamb and tear the teeth of the gear underneath .What I did do recently to prepare for that sort of thing was buy the exact same machine ( Soup Pro Mate )on Gumtree for $70.00...never been used still in the box...so keep your eye out well worth the investment for ongoing production of soup....Regards JohnI already have another one in my home just need to get jug for the van
